It's amazing how such a simple formation can be used to trap fishes in the early days. Only visible when the tides are low. We were told these weirs require tedious maintenance, and some families (kinda things you inherit from your folks) have given up on them, while some are still actively being restored.
Someone should have mentioned to me that riding a scooter or being a pillion rider in this EXTREMELY windy island is not an easy feat. It is as scary as going on a roller coster!
